It is well known that student interaction with therapy dogs can help with many of the issues and stressors that college students face. These include reducing anxiety, lowering blood pressure, easing depression, stimulating memory and problem-solving skills, and allowing students to feel more at ease and open to social behavior.
Landmark College is proud to have a team of therapy dogs that alternate duty on campus throughout the week. Owned and handled by Landmark College staff members, each dog has a unique personality and niche enabling students to engage in a variety of activities with the dogs, from puppy snuggles to walks around campus to games like tug and fetch.
Our dogs are so popular on campus that we included them in our 2018 holiday greeting with President Eden!
